London - Manchester United have confirmed Louis Van Gaal as the new manager of the club.
The Netherlands national coach sealed a three year contract with United beginning from next season, and will be assisted by Ryan Giggs.
“To manage the biggest club in the world makes me very proud." He said on United’s twitter handle.
Van Gaal will be replacing David Moyes.
