An American medical student who infamously put her virginity up for auction online has called the whole thing off after receiving very few legitimate bids.
Hanna Kern, a 28-year-old medical student at the University of Washington, put her virginity up for auction on March 31, Huffington Post reports.
On 7 May she closed the bidding as planned, but has now come out to reveal that she would not go through with the deal.
She said the reasons were the overwhelming challenge of balancing the publicity and filtering legitimate bids, of which there were only a few.
The highest bid received for the attractive lady’s virginity was $801 000.
