Tuface, T-Pain for AFRINMA Awards




The organisers of the maiden edition of the African Muzik Magazine Awards [AFRINMA], Big A Entertainment, have announced that Tuface Idibia and American hip hop act, T-Pain, will headline the show, which holds on July 26. Venue is the Eisemann Centre, Richardson, Texas, United States.

“Tuface will be the cynosure of all eyes having raised the bar of international collaboration with the success of Rainbow and featuring on T-Pain‘s new single, If I Got It, which also has Senegalese-American artiste, Akon on board,” the organisers said.

They added that it will be an amazing night which will celebrate artistes who have influenced and impacted the African culture as well as the pioneers who laid the framework for the music of today.

Meanwhile Arik Air has signed on as the official carrier of AFRINMA, while Larura Maczka, Mayor of Richardson, has issued an official proclamation endorsing the awards.

The organisers have also revealed that Soundcity will broadcast the award throughout Africa, the United States and over 17 African countries. The show will be hosted by Basketmouth and Juliet Ibrahim. Also expected to thrill are artistes from Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia and South Africa among others.
