A man from Ibadan has been granted a divorce from his wife after she engaged in prostitution and allegedly had four abortions while working as a lady of the night, Naijj.com reports.
Faniyan Abodunde confronted his wife Comfort about her obscure occupation and vowed not to have sexual relations with her. Abodunde found out from his wife's sister that she had four abortions. The couple have two children together.
The presiding judge made it clear that Comfort's new occupation would be detrimental not only to her health, but also the health of her husband. It has emerged from family members that Comfort almost died during the final abortion, she did not appear in court.
