Young Jeezy has been caught
up in some legal crossfire.
The rapper is one of five people who have
been arrested in the course of the investigation into a fatal shooting at Wiz Khalifa's
show Friday at the Verizon Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif.
Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Jenkins,
has been busted on a weapons charge after a search of his tour bus turned up a firearm,
according to the Mountain View Police Department, and as of this evening he was
reportedly being held on $1 million bail.
The other men arrested were Kena
Marshall, Peter Maynard, David Kuniansky-Altman, William Gilmore and Alexa
Beason, according to police.
No one has been arrested in the killing
of 38-year-old Eric Johnson, of Orinda, Calif.
"This remains an active homicide investigation
and MVPD detectives are aggressively following up on all leads," the MVPD
said in a press release. Authorities said that they received calls at 11:05
p.m. on Friday about gunshots fired at the concert venue. Johnson, who had been
shot multiple times, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced
dead.
